Uttar Pradesh ADG (Law and Order) Amitabh Yash confirmed that Sonam Raghuvanshi contacted her family at 3 AM, informing them of her presence at Kashi Dhaba on the Varanasi-Ghazipur main road. Ghazipur Police took her to a hospital for medical evaluation before transferring her to the One Stop Centre. Meghalaya Police, currently investigating the case in Indore, will take custody of Sonam upon arrival in Ghazipur. UP Police has not interrogated her.
